Larry Roby, President
Investment Advisor Representative
Larry Roby is the founder and President of Senior Financial Advisors. Larry strongly believes in the value of education. This belief has been the foundation of his business, as well as a factor in his move toward retirement planning. Retirement planning is complex and can be very emotional. Decisions need to be made in the areas of estate taxes, IRAs and other retirement-based investments, long-term care insurance, and the range of trust instruments available.
Larry assists his clients in making well-informed choices that allow them to control their financial circumstances and fund them better than would otherwise be possible. When you consider the growing number of seniors in the United States, their financial futures require nothing less.
As senior issues are constantly shifting, Larry believes it is important to keep himself educated on the changing market. He is currently finishing a critical two-year course called CASL “Certified Advisor for Senior Living.” Larry has also attained his Series 65 license which allows him to serve as an Investment Advisor Representative. He is also a:
- Registered Financial Consultant (IARFC.org)
- Licensed Insurance Agent
- MCEP (Master Certified Estate Planner) (NICEP.com)
By working as an independent agent and utilizing a variety of investment opportunities and insurance carriers, clients can feel comfortable they are getting the industry’s best from Larry and his SFA team.
In the field of retirement planning, Larry took what started as a simple interest in helping his own family and, through advanced education and self-study, has turned that into a business that can help all people. Nothing is more important to Larry than the relationships he has made with clients and partners of SFA, and he strives to always make clients glad they decided to work with him.
Larry founded Senior Financial Advisors with the philosophy that the needs of our clients are ALWAYS placed first. The primary focus of Senior Financial Advisors is helping seniors receive more income, more growth potential, pay less tax and leave more money to their spouses, children and grandchildren.
Larry and his wife Cindee attend New Vision Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. He and his team at SFA volunteer time and resources at Branches Recovery Center (a local counseling ministry). When not working, Larry enjoys time with his family (including eleven, nearly perfect, grandchildren).
